How to resolve a processing error when completing drop jumps
The drop jump test is susceptible to processing errors for a couple of simple, avoidable reasons. Processing error signifies that something catastrophically failed in calculating values for the test. 95% of the time, this error occurs because the athlete/subject being tested does not have a system weight value in the system.
Prior to running the test, you must enter a weight value for the athlete if they have not completed any jumps in the system before. A simple work around for this is to just complete a CMJ or other test type (not free run) prior to doing drop jumps.
In cases where your testing device is not connected to a network, you must ensure you enter a weight for the athlete in prior to the test - doing a CMJ first will only populate a system weight if you are connected to the cloud.
