If your force plates aren't connecting try these quick solutions (in this order):
Solution 1
- Turn the force plates off.
- Swipe up and completely close out of the Hawkin Dynamics Mobile App, reopen the app.
- Turn the force plates on.
- Wait until the light stops blinking on the force plate before attempting to reconnect (it will stay on green when they're ready).
Solution 2
- Swipe down from the top of the tablet to reveal the settings icons
- Swipe down on the icon list to reveal all settings icons
- Ensure Location Service are turned ON
Solution 3
- Turn off your WiFi on the device.
- Turn the WiFi back on.
- Repeat the steps in 'Solution 1'
Solution 4
You might be in an overly crowded signal area (i.e. your force plates are searching for multiple signals around you, including the device you're trying to connect to). This might happen in an area such as a large arena.
- Place your device on the ground right next to the force plates and repeat the steps in 'Solution 1'
- You may also have to find a private WiFi source in a crowded area with public WiFi. Talk to the media people nearby, they usually have access to a private WiFi network. You can also establish a local hotspot from your personal cellular device.
Solution 5
- If your force plates are still not connecting please email us at techsupport@hawkindynamics.com.
- You may also want to try turning off/on your WiFi router.
