      Test In Offline Mode

      No Internet? No Worries! Test In Offline Mode!

      You do not need any Internet connection to test on the tablet in the Hawkin Capture application. You will need connection to log into the app, so ensure you do that before bringing the plates out to the field, etc. 

      To test in offline mode, please follow these simple steps-

      • Open the Tablet Settings
      • Proceed to the Wi-Fi settings
      • Find your local network and disconnect and/ or forget the network
      • You will KEEP THE GENERAL WLAN/ WIFI BUTTON TICKED ON
      • This will allow the plate to connect to the tablet/ application while also letting you test in Offline Mode
      • Proceed to the Hawkin Capture Application and Connect the plates to the application
      • You will test while seeing the yellow "Working in Offline Mode" banner at the top of the app
      • Once testing has been completed, DO NOT log out or run any app updates.
      • Bring the tablet into a secure internet connection, connect to the local network and open the app
      • All data will now upload to the cloud database, and you will be good to go!
